For our latest Barbecue and Grilling Review, I am going to be reviewing another great barbecue and grilling product from my friends at ThermoWorks: the Chef Alarm. I am always happy with products from my great friends at ThermoWorks and their brand new Chef Alarm is no different.
But before I get to my review, let’s get some background about the brand new Chef Alarm by Thermoworks:
Splash-proof design for commercial kitchens and Uses Pro-Series™ temperature probes. The Chef Alarm by Thermoworks Includes Pro-Series High Temp Cooking Probe with cable to 700°F max temp and comes with an optional Pro-Series Needle Probe for thin cuts and Sous Vide. In addition, the Chef Alarm has an Adjustable high and low alarms and includes count-down and count-up timer.
Now that we got the background and product description out of the way, I want to share with you my thoughts and review of this latest product from my friends at ThermoWorks.
I really loved this product and it is perfect for both serious barbecue competitors and also those who just want to have fun on a weekly basis outside. For those who compete every week, the Chef Alarm is perfect to make sure that you don’t overcook your meats because it has an adjustable high low alarms which is perfect for when you are sleeping! Trust me the alarm is pretty loud! In addition to the high and low alarms the Chef Alarm also comes with an optional needle probe that is small enough to fit into a chicken thigh and also other small types of meats that you need to monitor.
Overall, I really didn’t find anything that I didn’t like about this great new product from Thermoworks. I think that this is something that every serious barbecue competitor must have to add to the growing list of must have’s from Thermoworks.
