It seemed that this was the year that our great friends at Thermoworks really stepped it up and released some amazing new products from a brand new Backlit Thermapen, the Chef Alarm, TimeStick and lastly the Thermoworks BlueTherm Duo. Every product that the great folks at Thermoworks released this year has become a quick must have for any serious barbecue or grilling enthusiast.

Like we do with every barbecue and grilling product review and rating let’s get the description of the product.

Thermoworks TimeStick Product Review and Rating

TimeStick will be your favorite timer. Hang it from your neck, slip it in a pocket or mount it to a magnetic surface. Directly set your time, with one hand, on the Splash-proof numeric keypad. We’ve made operation as simple as can be. After your first use, throw away the instructions. The count-down bar graph gives you a quick indicator of remaining time. When a count-down alarm sounds, the count-up timer starts so you will see how much time elapses after your alarm. The clock is settable in 12 hour or 24 hour formats.

I really like this product overall I the product does exactly what the product description says it does: “it count’s down the time!” very simple! Nothing fancy no major bells and whistles just a plain countdown timer which makes the product very reliable which obviously is always a good thing.

However, I would like to see some minor updates maybe in the next version, which would include a backlite. After seeing how valuable the addition of the backlit was to the thermapen, being that most of the time people who are on the barbecue circuit are working in the wee hours of the morning and have very little light, the addition of a backlit would be a nice addition to the product, and would make this product stand out even more. Hopefully in the next addition of this product, we will see an added backlit to the display.

Overall, if you are looking for a good stocking stuffer for that person who has every single great ThermoWork product and you just don’t know what to get him/her this would be a perfect gift!!
